Perceptions of How Integrated Care Impacts Treatment in Rural Settings

Background: In light of the changing face health care, it is important that practitioners and researchers begin to think strategically regarding comprehensive accessible care. The purpose this research study provide a deeper understanding change among care providers who work on multidisciplinary teams impact patient outcomes. Methods: This was designed as an exploratory phenomenological study. experience interest how described changes in when working integrated context. Eight semistructured in-depth interviews were conducted with physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, psychologists from locations Southern Ohio, Central Maine, Eastern Tennessee. Data analyzed using qualitative coding find patterns across participants associated their perceptions integration.
